Accelerated Metaphysics PhD Degree Program
The
Metaphysical Hypnosis Degree is excellent for students who wish to
start a hypnosis practice, add hypnosis to their existing counseling
or life coaching practice, provide hypnosis-related assistance to
those who wish to conquer fears and overcome poor habits and
obstacles, and/or conduct hypnosis-related research in areas such as
past life regressions, age regressions, human potential and
development, and more. Hypnosis graduates will receive a
Practitioner's Certificate and will receive the additional designation
of CH (Certified Hypnotist) as well as CSC (Certified
Spiritual Counselor) or CSLC (Certified Spiritual Life Coach) or CHLC
(Certified Holistic Life Coach).
Please note that our hypnosis metaphysics degree is for remedial hypnosis, not stage hypnosis. It is also important for hypnosis students to know that not all outside hypnosis associations accept each other's curriculum for certified membership. While our hypnosis training is comprehensive, thorough, and will give you the training you need to be successful, we cannot guarantee it will meet every association's criteria (this is true of any hypnosis school).
The advantage is that our hypnosis metaphysics degree involves much more training than typical hypnosis certification courses in that you will also learn metaphysical concepts that are integral to effective hypnosis. Most other hypnosis certification courses are broken up into basic, advanced, masters, and so on. Our hypnosis metaphysics degree includes all of these types of training and much more.
This specialization requires ordination in the International Church of Metaphysical Humanism (ICMH) (included) or in another bona-fide religious institution if a student does not want an ICMH ordination. Ordinations from the Universal Life Church are acceptable.

Twelve courses are required for a Bachelor's and Master's Degree. For a Doctoral degree, the Doctoral Degree Assignment is required. The courses below have been pre-determined for this specific degree. More information about each course is provided on the Course Descriptions page or the IMHS Catalog. Students are also free to take additional courses beyond the 12 required to graduate if desired. Additional courses are available at the regular course tuition rate.
